Land Acknowledgement

The Folk Star Arts Academy Society is located and operates on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), and sǝmyámǝ (Semiahmoo) land-based Nations and we also acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples who live in this region today.

As an arts and cultural organization, we are grateful for the opportunity to gather, learn, create, and share cultural traditions on these lands, and we remain committed to building respectful relationships through community, culture, and the arts.
